Lagelu Grammer School @ 40, By Mogaji Wole Arisekola

Spread the love

Thank you so much, my brothers. We were secondary school classmates—our alma mater—where boys always shared their past and present experiences together .
I loved my English teacher so much that I almost asked her out. One day, she jokingly asked me, “What is your name, handsome guy by the window?”
I replied, “Aris Kola Wole.”
She said, “I don’t get it.”
So I repeated, “Aris Kola Wole.”
She then turned to the class and asked, “What’s funny?”
They all chorused, “Long live the chairman!”
There was a particular friend of mine—we were always together. They nicknamed him “Chief Thug.” Unless you wanted to die, you dared not say anything contrary to my opinion. To him, the Chief was always right. Even if I came late to class, he believed the Chief could attend anytime he wished.
I could ask him to remove anyone’s chair, and the person would be suspended and reprimanded by my inner cabinet.
We had a very interesting time together, and I am happy that we are still doing well today. May God protect all of us, and may the souls of the departed rest in peace.
