The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has called on Nigerians to intensify prayers for the nation and its leaders as they navigate current challenges.

Olukoya made the call at a Fundraising Dinner for the MFM Miracle City on Sunday.

“Righteousness exalts the nation. Sin is a reproach to any nation. We should practice righteousness.

“We should pray for ourselves, pray for our country, pray for our leaders,” he said.

Olukoya described MFM as a ministry devoted primarily to prayer and spiritual intercession.

“The Mountain of Fire is a prayer ministry. That is why you don’t find us making too much noise.

“Prayer is not a noisy affair. We pray, we are praying for the nation and everyone who needs help.”

According to him, the ministry’s vision is to spread what he calls the “fire of prayer” across Nigeria by establishing prayer centres in various locations.

Olukoya explained that the newly introduced MFM Miracle City in the Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory is part of the church’s efforts to promote the spirit of prayer in Nigeria.

“The miracle city is not the only kind of prayer city we have. We have one in Warri, one in Enugu, and another in Pankshin, Plateau.

Olukoya noted that the initiative aims to positively impact humanity by transforming lives and encouraging people to become better individuals.

“Our vision will affect humanity by positively changing lives and making people better,” Olukoya said.

Also speaking was Mrs. Grace Omugbe, a member of the ministry and part of the Kingdom Builders group, who said the miracle city project represents a major step in expanding the ministry’s presence in northern Nigeria.

“The Kingdom Builders are on the verge of commencing the groundbreaking ceremony of the miracle city in Nigeria’s capital.

According to her, the new Miracle City is designed to replicate the experience of the ministry’s well-known Prayer City in Lagos, where worshippers gather for extended prayers and spiritual intervention.

She described the project as a large, accessible facility designed to serve people from all backgrounds seeking spiritual support.
