Iconic International Holdings has announced that it will officially unveil the 100 Iconic Personalities of the Year 2026 Awards, a flagship event celebrating exceptional leaders, innovators, and influential figures shaping Africa’s future and leaving a mark on the global stage.
The ceremony is scheduled for 10 April 2026 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos, and will gather distinguished guests, entrepreneurs, global leaders, and visionaries from across Africa for an evening dedicated to recognition, celebration, and inspiration.
The awards provide a platform to honor excellence, transformational leadership, and innovation, while promoting unity and sustainable development across the continent and beyond. The initiative highlights Iconic International Holdings’ commitment to empowering individuals whose contributions drive meaningful societal progress.
Speaking on the announcement, CEO Tinotenda Michelle Chavundura emphasized the organization’s dedication to advancing global recognition of impactful leadership.

According to Amb. Dr. Temisan O. Louis, President and Founder of Iconic International Holdings Group, this year’s Lagos edition will include a Business & Leadership Summit from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by the dinner awards ceremony honoring 100 exceptional personalities from diverse industries across Africa and the diaspora. Delegates are expected from over 35 countries, arriving from 8 April 2026 in preparation for the event.
Executive Global Vice President Amb. Apphia Nyasha Musavengana highlighted that only thoroughly vetted individuals and organizations who have made significant societal contributions will be recognized, in line with the organization’s mandate to maintain its reputation as Africa’s foremost recognition platform.
The event will feature keynote presentations by Prof. Eze Chidi Nwauba, Vice Chancellor of I-Fatoss University, Benin Republic; Amb. Dr. Olamide Junaid, founder of OJ Initiatives; Dr. Chinweoke Amarachi Okuwobi, founder of Talented Women Network; and fireside chats with Chief Dr. Alibaba and Dr. Princess Kelechi Oghene, founder of GMYT Group.
