A Nigerian facility, Primecare Hospital, has refuted claims that popular content creator Mukoro Michelle, known as King Mitchy, died at its Abuja facility.

In a statement on Instagram on Saturday, the hospital called the report “false” and stated that King Mitchy was never a patient there.

The denial followed widespread rumours on social media about King Mitchy’s alleged death amid an online feud with VeryDarkMan.

“Prime Care Hospitals management wishes to inform the public that the announcement regarding the alleged death of Miss Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, at our Abuja facility is false. King Mitchy was never a patient in our hospital and did not pass away here”.

The hospital said it is working with authorities to investigate the source of the misinformation and will take legal action against those responsible.

“We are working with authorities to investigate the source of this misinformation and will take all necessary legal actions against those responsible. Please verify information through our official channels before sharing,” the statement reads.

The controversy began after VeryDarkMan reacted to claims that King Mitchy consumed a substance identified as “Hypo.”

King Mitchy’s management had earlier announced her passing, but Primecare Hospital’s statement contradicts this claim.
