Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu today hosted His Royal Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, during a courtesy visit at Lagos House, Marina.
The governor described the meeting as highly meaningful, noting the Olubadan’s revered status as the paramount ruler of Ibadanland and a key custodian of Yoruba culture and traditions.
In his remarks, Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed appreciation for the productive discussion and the atmosphere of mutual respect that marked the encounter. Oba Ladoja’s visit highlights the strong cultural and inter-state ties between Lagos and Oyo State, as well as the continued importance of traditional institutions in fostering unity and dialogue in the Southwest region.
