Dr Princess Oghene, Founder of GAH Elite Club and a recognised authority in business leadership, education, and institutional development who’s at the helm of this initiative has said global conversations around women’s empowerment would continue to be intensified with measurable impacts.

Oghene said in a statement on Tuesday signed by Bolatito Adebola, Media Consultant that GAH Elite Club hosting the 2026 International Women’s Day position a strategic convergence of influence, leadership, and transformation among women.

She said that the programme scheduled for April 11, in Lagos, Nigeria, was deliberately designed not as a ceremonial gathering, but as a high-level platform for structured engagement, alignment, and execution with the theme: ‘The Power of Collaboration’

According to her, the theme also reflects a shift from symbolic unity to intentional alliances, strategic visibility, and collective advancement across leadership, enterprise, and global influence.

“We are moving beyond celebration into structure.
Beyond conversations into execution.

“This is where women stop showing up randomly and start showing up strategically.

“This signals a critical evolution in how International Women’s Day is being redefined within the GAH ecosystem from awareness to action, from presence to positioning.

“The framework for IWD 2026 is built around addressing a persistent gap, the lack of structured collaboration among high-impact women.

Oghene said that the 2026 edition would focus on strategic positioning and visibility, cross-industry partnerships, enterprise growth and wealth creation leadership influence and policy engagement.

She said that the programme would also focus on media positioning and narrative ownership.

“This is not an attendance driven event, it is an outcome-driven platform with a curative convening influence showcasing positive impacts of women in society,” she said.

According to her, the IWD 2026 will bring together a distinguished group of women whose work extends beyond success into measurable influence, institutional impact, and industry leadership.

The GAH founder added that the event would also focus on corporate executives and entrepreneurs to global professionals and media leaders as it was a curated convergence not a general assembly.

“The speakers represent lived frameworks of execution, resilience, and power as the platform was therefore designed for activation, alignment, and advancement.

“This is not just about women coming together. It is about women rising together, strategically, and powerfully,” she said.
