The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has established a Public Complaints Desk across its Zonal Directorates and Corporate Headquarters.
According to the anti-graft agency, the desk is to enhance public engagement and resolve grievances related to its activities.
Announcing the initiative, the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Ola Olukoyede, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, said the newly created desk will be staffed by specially trained officers.
He added that the officers will be tasked with receiving and addressing complaints from members of the public regarding the Commission’s operations.
This move aims to further bridge the communication gap between the EFCC and the public, ensuring swift resolution of issues.
Olukoyede also encouraged Nigerians to take advantage of this platform to voice their concerns about the Commission’s activities.
He assured the public that all complaints would be handled promptly and efficiently.
He further noted that contact information for the Public Complaints Desk will be made available on the EFCC’s official website and social media platforms.
This proactive step indicates the EFCC’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and improved public relations in the fight against economic and financial crimes.
