Chief Eze Commends City Boy Movement, Says President Tinubu’s Reforms Yielding Results

One of the supporters of City Boy Movement (CBM) in Lagos State, Chief Simon Eze has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his progressive leadership and people-focused reforms under the Renewed Hope Initiative.

Eze who is the CEO of Golden Tree Hotel and Seamark Electric Plc in Satellite Town, Oriade LCDA, described Tinubu’s policies as crucial to Nigeria’s transformation and pledged his unwavering support ahead of the 2027 general elections.

His assertions were made public on Sunday at his hotel during a chat with some political correspondents which attracted a large turnout of some political stakeholders of Igbo and Yoruba extraction in the Satellite Town and it’s adjoining communities.

Speaking at the gathering Chief Eze emphasized that the President’s initiatives are strategically designed to uplift the lives of everyday Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic background. He cited key programs such as the Youth Ignite Program, Youth Entrepreneurship Program, NELFUND, and Graduate Entrepreneurship Fund, describing them as powerful tools for tackling youth unemployment and fostering economic self-reliance, capacity building and human capital development.

The Enugu born entrepreneur and philantropist also commended the people of Lagos State and the Governor, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu for their consistent support of President Tinubu’s vision, assuring them that the positive impact of the administration’s policies would become increasingly visible as implementation continues.

He further spotlighted President Tinubu as a man of integrity and foresight, noting that the administration’s policies are already steering the country toward sustainable development, peace, and unity. He equally encouraged young people across the state to remain proactive and committed to supporting the government’s reform agenda.

He explained that the stakeholders engagement was organized to strengthen unity among Satellite Town youths and to mobilize continued grassroots support for Tinubu’s reelection bid in 2027. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the success and continuity of the administration’s development efforts.

He also used the platform to commend the executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Akorede Olojede for his developmental strides across all Units and Wards in his Constituency. He also saluted the Chairman for his advocacy and dedication to raising political awareness at the grassroots level. He urged other Chairmen in Lagos State and other parts of Nigeria to emulate Olojede’s commitment to good governance.

He added that grassroots development in Nigeria is a critical aspect of the nation’s socio-economic growth, focusing on empowering local communities through effective governance, resource allocation, and participatory decision-making processes.

According to Chief Eze, the Chairman of Oriade LCDA in Satellite Town, Hon. Olojede has established a transformative ideas and partnerships aimed at strengthening grassroots governance as a core driver of national progress while also justifying the Tinubu’s administration support for local government autonomy, cohesion and inclusivity.

He also assured members of the public that he is willing to do something very symbolic as soon as possible by hoisting the City Boy Movement flag in Satellite Town, representing renewed unity and resolve toward progress and to further solidify growing support for President Tinubu’s administration in Satellite Town and beyond.
