Business mogul and popular philanthropist Nuel Ojei is dead.
He was aged 74. He died last night, Saturday, December 27, 2025, in his hometown, Iseleuku, Delta State.
The Ogene of Iseleuku, passed Saturday night. “He died in his home in Iseleuku peacefully.
“He was a very distinguished person that excelled in his own life.
“May his soul rest in peace.
“Amen,” one of his associates said this Sunday afternoon.
The famed businessman and philanthropist was born on May 23, 1951.
The Lagos-based Chief (Dr.) Nuel Ojei was known for building the multi-sector Nuel Ojei Holdings (NOH) conglomerate, spanning auto distribution, oil & gas, banking, and more.
According to his biobrief, “he started from humble beginnings at Rutam Motors to becoming a major employer and benefactor in Nigeria, recognized with an honorary doctorate from Delta State University.”
