As Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, the National Chairman of Association of Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria (AMPON) Mogaji Bowale Oluwole Arisekola has congratulated Nigerian Muslims and Christians on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr, urging all citizens to resolve to live in peace and avoid making unhealthy or uncomplimentary statements.

Arisekola who is the publisher of The Street Journal magazine and Ibadan-based businessman also noted that one of the lessons learnt during the holy month of Ramadan was that of compassion and care for the needy, urging Muslims to continue to be their brother’s keepers as enjoined by the Almighty Allah through the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

The celebrity journalist and show promoter added that Islamic faithful should continue to live a decent life, exhibiting discipline in the use of all the senses and devoting more time to supplications before the Almighty Allah.

His Sallah message issued Sunday afternoon after Eid prayer read, “I am immensely grateful to God for his grace and mercy in guiding Muslims globally to successfully conclude another Ramadan fast in year 2025. My greetings to all Nigerian Muslims and our brother Christians on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.

“Although fasting is over, Muslims should strive to continue with the total devotion to the Almighty Allah, good deeds and constant remembrance as well as reverence for God.

“May the lessons of Ramadan namely; piety, self-denial, prayers and generosity to the poor and needy be with us for all time. I, again, appeal to all Nigerians to avoid uncomplimentary and unhealthy statements or actions against our fellow countrymen.

“We should remember our government in prayer all the time particularly, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu so that he can succeed in delivering the dividends of democracy to the citizenry. Similarly, we should all resolve to live in peace and unity in our great country, which is the envy of many less endowed nations.

“Nigeria is the only country we can call ours, hence the citizens, especially Muslims at this time, must work together and pray assiduously for continuous peaceful coexistence among the people. .”

“On behalf of my family and my entire staff members locally and internationally, I use this opportunity to congratulate all the Muslim Ummah on the successful pray that may all the requests placed before almighty Allah by our Muslim brothers and sisters during this period of fast and supplications be answered by almighty Allah.”
