A member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Ambassador Musiliu Obanikoro, The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commended Oriade LCDA Chairman, Hon. Rasaq Akorede Olojede, for his significant contributions to local governance and community development.
Obanikoro who served as the Senator for Lagos Central from 2003 to 2007 was also former Minister of State for Defence and former Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ghana.
At the high profile gathering Obanikoro highlighted several legacy projects by the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Olojede, which include Community road Satellite Town; Jimoh Street, Agboju off Old Ojo Road; Moshalashi street-Onireke Community, opposite Ojo Army Barracks; Ayinke Timpson Phase 2 Satellite Town, to mention but a few.
Accoriding to him the projects have not only improved infrastructure but also enhanced the quality of life for residents in the area.
The astute politician also encouraged the council Chairman to continue in delivering impactful projects while also encouraging him not to renege in domesticating Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope initiatives that are instrumental in empowering Nigerians across various sectors.
He however prayed for Olojede to succeed in his political career and attain more milestones that will distinguish him among his counterparts.
Obanikoro also eulogised Olojede for his humility, decency, accountability, transparency, respect for elders and achieving so much in office within hundred days in office.
