After predicting victory for the presidential elections of Donald Trump for the first and second time most accurately, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and two-time governorship aspirant in Edo State, High Chief Jacob Egietseme Idinye has expressed optimism that Trump’s come back will be for the good of United States and the world at large.

In a statement the Etsako born politician released on Sunday and made available to the media few hours to the official inauguration of Trump as American President.

Idinye added in his statement that Trump’s first reign boosted the American economy, which must have impressed Americans to vote for him enmasse against the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris.

“I predicted Donald Trump’s victory during his first electoral attempt and my prediction ended up to be positive. My prediction also came through, during Trump’s second attempt and of course this is not rocket science, but the ability to make accurate calculations based on facts and acceptance of the electorate irrespective of the tantrums from opposition and sponsored smear campaigns in both social and mainstream media. I am strongly convinced that Trump this time around would bring the world together in peace. As a good sign of his second lap at the White House, he just appointed three Hollywood actors to bring back the entertainment and movie productions to life.

“Trump’s contributions and intervention to the ceasefire in the Middle East today, is also a plus for him indicating that he believes in the new world order that can foster tolerance, peace, excellent bilateral relations amongst nations as well as trade and investments. For the second time, Donald Trump will be inaugurated Monday, January 20, 2025 as president of the United States. This unequivocally represents a pivotal time in American history, a new period beyond the world order created by the United States and its allies post-World War II.

“Trump administration will essentially presents hope for a future of a country it sees as lurching too far to the left. Indeed, Trump is on the precipice of a second term, and he is more prepared for than when he first won the White House in 2016. Trying to make up some revenue, Trump has stepped outside GOP orthodoxy, touting tariffs as a budgetary panacea.

“The high cost of living, immigration at record levels, the unending wars, unpragmatic economic policies, and the shattered hope of reconciling a divided America paved the way for Trump’s victory. President Trump’s leadership will come with renewed hope; Nigeria and other African nations are poised for significant growth and transformation. He is not coming to start a war but to end it and enthrone the global peace that has eluded us for a long time.

“Similarly, it is very clear that Trump is a dogged leader, a fighter, and people made their choice through the ballot because of his astonishing qualities and virtues. He did not just prove to the American people but also to the whole world that he is the right man for the job. I wish him best of luck in his new tenure and may the world be better for it,” Idinye said.
