Aare Akinkunmi Felicitates Otun Olubadan, High Chief Rasheed Ladoja At 80

An Ibadan born politician who is also a successful entrepreneur, Aare Akinkunmi Akinyemi has congratulated the former Governor of Oyo state and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Senator Rasheed Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary.

The elder statesman, High Chief Ladoja was born in September 25, 1944.

Whilst celebrating the Oak jubilee of Ladoja, Aare Akinkunmi, in a statement which he personally signed and made available to newsmen including veracitydesk.com, late Tuesday night, said it is a thing of joy to add another year for anybody, let alone a man who had been favoured by God and had accomplished many feats in life.

Aare added that Ladoja served as a Senator and subsequently made it to the coveted seat of a Governor in a cosmopolitan state like Oyo without blemish but with many indelible records of excellence.

“Permit me to, on behalf of my family and associates, to congratulate you on your 80th birthday anniversary. We appreciate the grace of God in your life. More than this, we note your humility, dedication and sobriety,

“I deeply feel elated to felicitate and rejoice with my political leader, mentor, father-figure, a true trailblazer and an icon of integrity, dignity decency and courage. Your Excellency, this is a great milestone worthy of celebration, having lived an impactful life to humanity. You are a great leader loved and cherished by your people for the just cause you always stand for.

“Sir, I humbly celebrate you today and it is also my prayer that you live longer to achieve your great desires in good health even in many more years to come,” the statement reads.

While some would have been corrupted by the circumstances of power, Aare Akinkunmi said, “Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Senator Rasheed Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja, whom I mentioned his name with utmost respect has held his head high and remained sober and dedicated.” Aare said he wishes the latest octogenarian well now and in the years ahead. “Happy birthday and many happy returns sir, the statement concluded.
