The Baale of Obawole community in Ifako-Ijaiye local government area, has honoured Lagos socialite, Alhaji Ola Lawal, with the title of ‘Babalaje of Obawoleland’.
Come Sunday, 29th of December, 2024, Lawal will be conferred with the title at an elaborate ceremony to be held at the expansive premises of the Mac Royal School on Kajola Road, Indike Bus Stop, Obawole, Ogba, Lagos State.
According to the nomination letter emanating from the palace of the Baale of Obawoleland, ‘Hadji White’ as Lawal is fondly addressed, is being honoured for his spirit of resourcefulness and contributions to the social and economic growth of Obawole community.
Popular music artiste is billed to perform at the reception after the coronation which holds at Lawal’s residence.
Ola Lawal is the chief executive officer of DCAV Oil and Gas Limited, a big player in the maritime industry.
