Chief Simon Eze, a prominent stakeholder and supporter of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s reelection bid in Akpugo, Nkanu West LGA of Enugu State, has congratulated the people of Akpugo, Enugu State, Governor Mbah, and Nigerians at large on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
He described the anniversary as a moment worth celebrating, noting the significant strides made under Governor Mbah’s administration across key sectors of the state’s economy.
Chief Eze, owner of Seamark Electric Plc and Golden Tree Hotel in Satellite Town, Lagos, expressed satisfaction with the Governor’s investments in transportation, sports, healthcare, road infrastructure, security, and education. He also highlighted the administration’s support for Rangers International Football Club, describing the team as a symbol of the resilience and enduring spirit of the Igbo people.
Speaking with journalists, Chief Eze commended Governor Mbah’s transformative projects, which he said have redefined governance in the state and inspired confidence in its future.
In his Independence Day message, he stated:
