On this historic day, October 1, 2026, I, Hon. Rasak Akorede Olojede (R.A.O), Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State, on behalf of the government and people of Oriade LCDA, extend heartfelt felicitations to all Nigerians, and in particular, the resilient and hardworking people of Oriade LCDA, as we celebrate Nigeria at 66.
Sixty-six years ago, our founding fathers fought valiantly for the freedom, unity, and progress we enjoy today. Their sacrifices remind us that Nigeria’s unity is our greatest strength, and our diversity, our enduring beauty.
In Oriade LCDA, we are building on that legacy of hope. We remain fully committed to grassroots development, security, environmental renewal, youth empowerment, and quality service delivery—in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES+ Agenda.
I salute the resilience of our market men and women, our dynamic youths, our revered traditional rulers, religious leaders, and every resident of Oriade LCDA. You are the reason Oriade continues to rise and thrive.
As we mark this anniversary, let us continue to live in peace, love our nation, and play our part in building the Nigeria of our dreams.
Happy 66th Independence Day — October 1, 2026!
Long Live Oriade LCDA! Long Live Lagos State! Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
E-Signed: Hon. Rasak Akorede Olojede (R.A.O) Executive Chairman, Oriade LCDA, Lagos State October 1, 2026
