Organisers of Real Talk With Kike have announced a distinguished lineup of speakers for the programme’s seventh anniversary celebration, which will also honour broadcaster Kikelomo Atanda-Owo Abati’s over two decades of impact in the Nigerian media industry.
The milestone event is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, and will convene leaders from government, business, media, and culture to discuss Nigeria’s future.
Keynote addresses will be delivered by Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, Deputy Governor of Lagos State and 2027 Lagos APC gubernatorial candidate, and Dr. Kola Adesina, Group Managing Director of Sahara Group.
Other confirmed speakers include Mr. Vlassis Liakouris, Group Managing Director of Mandilas Group Limited; Dr. Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, Founder of Rise Network; and Mrs. Bola Adesola, Chairman of the Board of Ecobank Nigeria, who will deliver the goodwill message.
The discussions will centre on the theme: “The Future of Nigeria: Where Leadership, Innovation, Culture and Media Converge to Shape Nation Building.” The theme reflects the philosophy that has defined Real Talk With Kike over the past seven years—providing a platform for meaningful conversations on leadership, society, business, culture, and contemporary issues.
For Kikelomo Atanda-Owo Abati, the celebration marks two milestones: the seventh anniversary of the programme and her more than 20-year journey in broadcasting, underscoring longevity, impact, and the power of dialogue.
The multidisciplinary lineup mirrors the event’s nation-building focus. Hamzat is expected to share insights on governance and public leadership, while Adesina and Liakouris will address private-sector innovation and enterprise.
