Human rights activist, publisher of Sahara Reporters, and 2027 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, made headlines today as he joined demonstrators at a Free Palestine protest.
Chanting “No justice, no peace! Free Palestine!”, Sowore stood alongside activists demanding an end to the ongoing violence in Gaza.
He condemned what he described as genocide being committed by the state of Israel, stressing the need for global solidarity with Palestinians.
In a post seen by Veracity Desk (veracitydesk.com) on the social media, Sowore captioned a video and wrote, “I joined to make it clear that Nigerians stand for justice and human rights for Palestinians,” Sowore declared, underscoring his long-standing reputation as a voice for justice and human rights.
His participation highlights the intersection of activism and politics in his presidential bid, as he continues to position himself not only as a reformist candidate for Nigeria but also as a global advocate for oppressed communities.
