Hon. Rasaq Akorede Olojede, Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has publicly declared unwavering support for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, calling for continuity of his administration into a second term to consolidate reforms and sustain Nigeria’s growth trajectory.
In a goodwill message delivered on behalf of the people of Oriade LCDA and Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency, Olojede emphasized that President Tinubu’s bold economic decisions since assuming office in May 2023 have repositioned Nigeria for stability, empowerment, and long-term prosperity.
Key Achievements Highlighted
Olojede outlined several verifiable achievements under Tinubu’s leadership:
- Restoring International Confidence: Strategic shuttle diplomacy at UNGA, G20, COP28 and bilateral engagements has unlocked over $30 billion in pledged Foreign Direct Investments, making Nigeria Africa’s leading investment destination.
- Industrial Revival: Operationalization of the Dangote Refinery, revival of the steel sector, and renewed interest in automobile assembly plants and free trade zones are driving industrial growth.
- Energy Security: Completion of the AKK Gas Pipeline and expansion of the OB3 Gas Pipeline are powering industries, creating jobs, and tackling energy poverty.
- Banking Sector Reforms: Recapitalization policies have strengthened Nigerian banks, enabling expansion across Africa and globally.
- Stock Market Growth: The Nigerian Stock Exchange has emerged as one of the world’s best-performing, surpassing the 100,000 All-Share Index mark with over 45% growth, boosting investor confidence.
- Regional Development Commissions: Establishment of new commissions for the North West, South East, South West, and North Central regions ensures balanced development alongside existing NDDC and NEDC.
Call for Continuity
Acknowledging the initial pains of subsidy removal and exchange rate unification, Olojede argued that Tinubu’s tough reforms were necessary to secure Nigeria’s future. He noted that inflation is moderating, reserves are growing, and youths are being empowered through initiatives such as the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), the 3MTT Digital Skills Program, and the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative.
“We cannot afford to stop halfway. We must allow the farmer to harvest what he has planted. For the sake of our children and for a greater Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu must complete his 8 years,” Olojede declared.

The Oriade LCDA Chairman urged residents of Oriade, Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos State, and Nigerians at large to rally behind President Tinubu and the APC, stressing that continuity is vital for stability, progress, and national development.
