Chief Simon Eze, Chief Executive Officer of Golden Tree Hotel and Seamark Electric Plc, as well as a prominent resident of Oriade Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has congratulated the Executive Chairman, Hon. Rasaq Akorede Olojede, on the milestone of his first year in office.
He lauded Olojede as a politician of conscience and integrity, whose leadership has consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to the welfare and progress of the people. Chief Eze further praised the Chairman’s developmental strides, noting that his achievements have reinforced the importance of local government autonomy championed by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Chief Eze who is an employer of labour and owner of Seamark Electric Plc and Golden Tree Hotel at Ayinke Simpson Drive emphasized that Olojede’s performance illustrates how grassroots governance can deliver tangible impact when driven by vision, accountability, and inclusiveness.
The Enugu born entrepreneur recalled that Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo‑Olu had sworn in all elected chairmen and vice chairmen of the 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas of Lagos State following the July 12, 2025 elections, after which Hon. Olojede assumed office and has since steered Oriade LCDA with focus and dedication.
In his remarks, Chief Eze said:
“I truly congratulate you on your one‑year milestone in office as Oriade LCDA Chairman. You are a God‑sent leader in this community — a detribalized leader who has consistently shown love and affection to every citizen irrespective of tribe, religion, or gender. Above all, you are a good listener who treats everyone equally and with compassion.”
He highlighted Olojede’s achievements in infrastructure development, including road construction, market reconstruction, and building renovations.
He also commended the Chairman’s support for vulnerable groups, provision of educational materials for youths, timely interventions in primary health centers, and collaborations with local security agencies to maintain peace.
“If we can witness all these accomplishments within just 12 months, we are confident that your subsequent years in office will be marked by even greater progress, prosperity, and success across the board,” Chief Eze added.
He concluded with a prayer: “It is my earnest prayer that you will continue to attain more milestones and grow in your political career and service to humanity. Congratulations, sir, on this remarkable feat. May you continue to fulfill your purpose and destiny, and may posterity be kind to you as you continue to attain greater glory and accomplishments.”
