The Adeniji family of Abeokuta, Ogun State, has formally announced the passing of their beloved son and brother, Barrister Adewale Olubiyi Adeniji, who peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on June 12, 2026, at the age of 61.

A distinguished son of Abeokuta, Barrister Adeniji was widely respected as a formidable voice in the legal profession, a visionary entrepreneur, and a devoted servant of God on the pulpit. His multifaceted contributions to law, business, and ministry earned him admiration across diverse spheres of society.

In a statement signed by his son, Fikun Adeniji, the late Barrister was described as “a great man, full of energy and life.” Fikun further noted:

“Everyone who knew my dad recognized his deep passion for Nigeria and his unwavering dedication to its progress and development. His legacy of service and positive impact will continue to resonate through the countless lives he touched.”

Barrister Adeniji is survived by his wife, Olukemi, his children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family members, friends, colleagues, and associates.

His life and work remain a source of inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
