Eze, owner of Seamark Electric Plc and Golden Tree Hotel in Satellite, Lagos, expressed satisfaction with Governor Mbah’s heavy investment in sports.
Highlighting the administration’s support for Rangers International Football Club, he noted that the team embodies the resilience, courage, and enduring spirit of the Igbo people.
Speaking with journalists on Friday, Eze praised the administration for transformative projects in transportation, education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

He also lauded Governor Mbah for rewarding Rangers International with plots of land and ₦150 million following their triumph in the 2025/2026 NPFL season.
“Rangers FC won the league for a record‑equalling ninth time, and for the second time in three years under the Mbah administration, after defeating Ikorodu City Boys 2‑1 in Lagos on May 24, 2026. They are great ambassadors, and Mr. Governor has rewarded them profoundly. This is leadership with passion, dignity, and integrity,” Eze remarked.
He emphasized that Rangers remain a vital symbol of Igbo identity and determination, adding that Governor Mbah’s commitment to sustaining the club’s success has preserved that legacy.
Eze pledged continued support for the Governor’s initiatives aimed at advancing Enugu’s development through 2031. He added that all stakeholders in Akpugo have doubled down to ensure that Dr Peter Mba record a landslide victory in the 2027 gubernatorial election in the State.
The Lagos‑based businessman further highlighted landmark projects such as Enugu Air, modern bus terminals, urban and gateway road networks, Smart Schools, Type II Hospitals across 260 wards, the New Enugu Smart City, the International Conference Centre, and the revitalisation of the Presidential Hotel.
He also applauded the administration’s allocation of over 33% of the state budget to education, alongside the commissioning of the Haier factory — a $20 million assembly plant producing laptops, smartphones, and spare parts.
Eze concluded by praising the 042 Ride Taxi Youth Empowerment Scheme, describing it as a programme capable of creating sustainable employment opportunities for young people while enhancing public transportation services across the state.
