For some people, March 25 of every calendar year is like any ordinary day in their lives. But this is not so for this highly respected Nigerian entrepreneur and veteran integrated marketing communications (IMC) guru, Dr Tunji Olugbodi, Executive Vice Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Verdant Zeal Group. For him, the day is always worth celebrating, as it signifies the beginning of his earthly sojourn.
More interesting is the fact that March 25 of year 2024 is the day this advertising personality clocked 60. This year and as such, provided another unique opportunity to celebrate this quintessential man whom many have benefited from his fountain of knowledge and are today ‘Generals’ of sorts in the Nigeria’s thriving marketing communications industry.
Impressively, Dr. Olugbodi’s many years of lofty achievements in his calling, recognitions, discipline, tenacity of purpose, vision, high moral rectitude and awards, following his investments in an integral part of the economy has significantly helped in creating jobs, equipped many with skills for start-ups and attracted the global spotlight.
He truly epitomizes hard work, perseverance, doggedness, humility, diligence and patriotism. The fact that he treasures the virtue of genuine loyalty to any cause he believes in, gives him the cutting-edge.
I sincerely and warmly felicitate with friends, family members and professional associates of this latest sexagenarian who carefully and painstakingly explored IMC as a profession and business, and diligently mentored many to follow his steps by creating a learning hub and supporting academic institutions with ideas and facilities.
As Dr Olugbodi turns 60, it is my belief that his wealth of experience and knowledge will continue to inspire more people into entrepreneurship, especially in the creative industry which has turned more dynamic and vibrant with many opportunies for the adventurous.
I also pray that the almighty God will grant the advertising expert longer life, good health and more wisdom to keep investing in the country and her citizens.
