Edo State Commissioner for Information, Prince Kassim Afegbua has condemned poor conduct of the management of Enugu Air for cancelling his flight without any explanation after waiting for six hours at the airport on Sunday.

The commissioner expressed worries that he has been denied an opportunity to make it to an official engagement that was scheduled for the day.

Reacting on his social media platform, Afegbua repudiated Enugu Air for exhibiting bad customer service while also advising the management to quit the business should they lack the capacity to carry on with the business.

He however sought the intervention of the Honorable Minister of Aviation, Mr. Festus Keyamo to address the airline’s alleged misconduct and ensure passengers are treated with dignity in line with international best practices.

Afegbua wrote:

“ENUGU AIR, IF YOU DON’T HAVE INFRASTRUCTURE TO RUN AIRLINE, PLEASE PACK UP. WAITING FOR SIX HOURS TO BOARD ENUGU AIR, AND FINALLY CANCELLING THE FLIGHT WITHOUT A WORD FROM THE MANAGEMENT IS A SORE THUMB. WHERE IS AVIATION MINISTER IN ALL OF THIS? SO AWFUL, SO RIDICULOUS, SO FRUSTRATING. MR KEYAMO, PLEASE INTERVENE.”
