Triangle International Magazine has announced plans to mark its 10th anniversary with a landmark lecture and dinner scheduled for April 2 at the Great Hall, King’s College London (Strand Campus), under the theme, “Harnessing the Role of Nigerians in the Diaspora for National Development.”Cultural Event Listings
The anniversary event, a major milestone for the international publication, is expected to convene policymakers, academics, media professionals and members of the Nigerian diaspora for a high-level conversation on national growth and global collaboration.
Leading the conversation as Guest Speaker is the Minister of Interior, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who will deliver the keynote address. He is expected to outline the federal government’s perspective on diaspora engagement and its strategic relevance to Nigeria’s development agenda.
Also billed as a Special Guest is Prof. Funmi Olonisakin, Vice-Principal (International) and Professor of Security, Leadership and Development at King’s College London. Her participation brings an academic and global policy dimension to the discourse, reinforcing the significance of hosting the event at one of the United Kingdom’s leading institutions.
Dr. Kola Adesina, Group Managing Director of Sahara Group, will also feature prominently at the event. A seasoned entrepreneur with experience spanning academia, insurance, finance, energy, trade and diplomacy, Adesina is expected to provide insights on private sector collaboration and investment opportunities involving Nigerians in the diaspora.
Adding a technology and innovation perspective to the anniversary lecture is Prof. Ojo Emmanuel Ademola, an Artificial Intelligence researcher specialising in Cybersecurity and Information Technology Management.
The programme will be further enriched by a panel of discussants, with Seun Okinbaloye serving as moderator, while Otunba Femi Salako will host the event.
