The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has released his prophecies for 2026, projecting a year marked by economic easing, renewed hope, and a shift in Nigeria’s migration pattern.

Adeboye delivered the prophecies during the RCCG’s annual crossover service held at the Redemption City along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

The cleric described 2026 as a year that would outshine 2025 in terms of impact, with increased breakthroughs, victories, and successes, and fewer setbacks.

Pastor Adeboye said the spiritual “wind” that began in 2024 would gather even greater momentum in 2026, adding that many people would soon testify with the words, “God remembered me at last.”

Turning to Nigeria, the RCCG leader predicted a decline in hunger levels across the country and said small and medium-scale enterprises would experience renewed growth.

He also forecast what he termed a “reversed Japa,” noting that many Nigerians who migrated abroad in search of better opportunities would begin to return home.

He explained that the messages shared at the service represented only the first phase of his prophecies concerning Nigeria, adding that the second part would be released on Friday, January 2, if God permits.

On global affairs, Adeboye said the likelihood of a major world war in 2026 would be lower than in the previous year.

He added that weather patterns would largely mirror those of 2025, although there could still be a few significant hurricanes.
