Today, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, it is simply worthy to celebrate a woman of grace, wisdom, and unwavering strength; a true Amazon and cheerful heart on the occasion of her birthday anniversary. Her name is Dr Bisi Akin-Alabi (aka Esuruoso).

Surrounded by her wonderful family, close-knit friends and well-wishers, Dr Bisi deservedly is celebrating this milestone with much glitter, grandeur and glamour.

She is one of Nigeria’s most celebrated society matriarchs. Over the years, she has come to win the love and adulation of most society ladies. Beyond her great sense of elevated style, she is also an embodiment of humility, grace and warmth.

As a mother of over 3 decades, yet her age has not made her earn a single wrinkle, and neither has it taken away her winsome beauty and cheery outlook on life.

She appreciates this priceless fact, hence her predilection for unabashed modesty and moderation. The style maven lives by the mantra that worrying wastes the body, and it does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; rather, it empties today of its strength.

This great icon is the former Special Adviser Education to the immediate past Govt of Oyo State, the CEO of SchoolRun Academy Ventures, and lead of Safe Schools Lagos (SSLAG).

She is an Alumna of the University of Lagos, London Southbank University and Kings College, London Under her leadership, SSLAG developed and deployed a school-safety compliance and has championed inclusive safety for both public and private schools in urban and suburban Lagos, advocating that all children must be safe.

Dr Bisi is recognised for pioneering safe schooling culture in Lagos, aligning with global best practice. She received a Meritorious Award at the 2023 Nigerian British Awards in London for her child-safety and education leadership. And more recently, in October 2025 she received the Female Achievers Award, School Safety category at an event held by the City People Group in Lagos Nigeria.

She is a diligent educator who exhibits a great vision for developing sustainable education provision in Africa. Bisi was also recognised in the United Kingdom 24 years ago by the then Prime Minister, Tony Blair and was invited to No 10 Downing Street to dine with him and his cabinet members. Her efforts in the community were also rewarded by the Universal Peace Federation in the UK when she was made an Ambassador for Peace in Lancaster Gate, London (Jan 2025).

This amazing woman is focused on succession planning in Africa. She is also an alumna of University of Westminster and University of Surrey both in London. She currently runs “the SchoolMother Show” which is an education beyond the classroom programme that raises awareness on school safety, safe parenting, safe interactions and Leadership skills, encouraging self authenticity? Mutual respect and so on.

You indeed epitomize hard work, perseverance, doggedness, diligence and patriotism. The fact that you treasure the virtue of true friendship and loyalty to any cause you believe in, gives you the cutting edge. I sincerely rejoice with a consummate professional, a respected nationalist, a committed philanthropist and a loving mother.

Dr, my prayer for you today as you celebrate your birthday, is that God Almighty will continue to protect and preserve you for all of us. May He imbue you with good health of mind, body and grant you many more years in blessings on earth with abiding fulfillment. Congratulations to you.
