After a series of fine performances for Tottenham, British-Nigerian footballer, Dominic Solanke has been invited to the England national team.

The Three Lions will be taking on Greece at Wembley on 10 October before playing Finland in Helsinki on 13 October.

Solanke, who last played for the team in 2017, made the 23-man list invited by interim coach Lee Carsley.

Solanke earned his only Three Lions cap, a substitute appearance against Brazil in 2017 during his time at Liverpool.

He has scored three goals in six games for Tottenham since joining Ange Postecoglou’s side in a £65m deal from Bournemouth in the summer.

Recall that the 27-year-old was overlooked for England’s Euro 2024 squad, despite netting 21 goals in 42 appearances for the Cherries last term.
