The Chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Honourable Gbenga Elegbeleye, has been announced as one of the distinguished speakers at the prestigious World Football Summit (WFS) in Madrid. Elegbeleye will join a panel of renowned global football administrators to discuss the topic, “Global Football’s Next Generation: A Discussion on Future Investment.”
The panel includes notable figures such as Seiya Nobuta of the J. League, Quentin Paquelier of Club América, and Matías Patanian of Club Atlético River Plate, with Kristian Dobrev of The Football Business Academy (FBA) serving as the moderator. The session is set to take center stage on Thursday evening, October 16, 2025, as part of the summit’s impressive lineup.
H.E. Fred Akhigbe, the World Football Summit Ambassador to Nigeria, highlighted the significance of Elegbeleye’s inclusion. Speaking from Madrid, Akhigbe remarked, “The World Football Summit has solidified its reputation as the global hub for football innovation and collaboration.
