Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Namadi Sambo, has reportedly defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Sambo, is a former Nigerian Vice President under President Goodluck Jonathan from 2010 to 2015.

Sources close to the development revealed that the former VP has been involved in recent high-level consultations as part of a broader political realignment ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Although no official statement has been issued by Sambo himself as of press time.
