Oyo State gubernatorial hopeful, Dr. Gbenga Adegbola and his team have paid a condolence visit to Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, former First Lady of Oyo State, following the death of her daughter, Mrs. Abisola Kola-Daisi.
It is recalled that the entrepreneur died late March 2025 in the United Kingdom at the age of 44.
Dr. Adegbola whose condolence visit to the Ikoyi residence of the bereaved family on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 was better late than never, described Bisola’s passing as a regrettable tragedy, not only for the Ajimobi family but also for everyone who knew and loved Abisola. He emphasized that losing a child is an unbearable pain and unfillable void no parent could endure.
While expressing his deep sorrow over the loss, he also offered prayers for the repose of the deceased’s soul and that God should continue to comfort all those she left behind to mourn her painful exit.
He also reminisced about the great virtues of the family’s patriarch and former Governor of Oyo State, late Isiaka Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi, noting that he etched his name in gold with remarkable excellence, and immeasurable positive impact during his eight-year tenure in the State.
