Conlek Enterprises Ltd Attains Fresh Milestone For The Successful Conduct African Conference On Irrigation

Pastor Oluwaleke Toba has linked the successful planning and execution of the 6th edition of African Regional Conference on Irrigation and Drainage (ARCID) to the expertise deployed by Conlek Enterprises Limited, noting that the company matched words with achievements in attaining this fresh milestone.

The aim of the conference was to help farmers, government across board, private investors and others within the agricultural value chain to accelerate irrigation and dry season activities in order to improve livelihoods and boost food security in all the 6 geo-political zones in Nigeria.

Pastor Leke who is Conlek’s CEO, also expressed optimism that the 4-day conference which held in FCT, Abuja, between 14th to 18th April, 2025 would no doubt help participants especially African governments and other relevant stakeholders to develop strategies that could mitigate food scarcity, drought and to equally reverse struggles to cope with climate crisis and global economic downturn.

In his social media post on Saturday he said:

“The 6th African Regional Conference on Irrigation and Drainage (6ARCID2025) held in Abuja, Nigeria, was a significant gathering that brought together state governments, national representatives, global professionals, and specialists in water management and irrigation. This prestigious event served as a platform to discuss innovative solutions and share expertise in irrigation and water resource management.

“The successful planning and execution of this four-day international conference were fully managed by Conlek Enterprises Limited showcasing their exceptional expertise and dedication to delivering world-class events. The team’s unwavering effort ensured seamless coordination, high-impact presentations, and a memorable experience for all participants. A big thank you to all participants, Borno State Government, Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation”

He further extended his appreciation to some organizations whose contributions and involvement added to the success of the conference.

Those on his acknowledgement list included, International Water Management Institute IWMI, the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Food and Agriculture organisation (FAO), World Bank, Nigeria Agricultural insurance corporation (NAIC), CSS Global integrated farms, Emplan, AIM, NTA, upper Niger River Basin, Samahah integrated services, Hadejah Jamare river basin development authority and so many exhibitors and participants and partners.
